It all began with a simple idea. We now pride ourselves in our careful planning and dedication to every detail of our goal. We are rooted in community and commitment, and ensure that everything we do reflects our commitment to a different way of life. Below, we've addressed some of the most commonly asked questions about Nar'an

How will you sustain yourself?

This is a completely understandable worry that alot of people interested in our community share, however it is important that we are collectively putting in as much effort as we can to ensure our longevity. We are all taking the time to educate ourselves on various methods of gathering recourses, be it food, water as well as providing shelter. We have collectively agreed that fishing will be our number one provider of food, as well as naturally sourcing any fruits that may be available. 

What language will everyone speak?

As a community we have agreed to speak our own language, Nar'an. This language currently sits at several hundred words, and has its own grammar, particles and a functioning sentence structure. 

Are there roles within Nar'an?

While Nar'an does not own a hierarchy system, as we disagree with the concept of leaders, we all possess individual roles. This will give each person a sense of impact and responsibility. The roles vary from hunters and gatherers, to teachers and cooks! We have a wide range of roles for you to choose from that'll be best suited to your own individual talents and hobbies.

How will you afford this?

Each member of Nar’an is encouraged to set aside money over the next several years. When we’ve gathered enough as a community, we’ll bring in a lawyer to help us handle the financial side of things properly and transparently.
